HARRISBURG – Rep. Rob Kauffman (R-Franklin) has announced that his 2018 Senior Fair will be held Friday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department social hall, 101 W. Main St., Fayetteville.

The always-popular event typically draws more than 1,000 seniors annually who enjoy talking with dozens of vendors about local, state and federal services and programs of value to senior citizens and their caregivers. There are also door prizes, a free breakfast and health screenings offered to attendees.

“I always look forward to the Senior Fair and meeting and talking with all the seniors and their families who attend,” said Kauffman. “I also enjoy catching up each year with our returning attendees and learning what concerns are on the minds of our senior population. I generally end the day with new ideas or problems I want to tackle to help improve the quality of life for our older men and women here in Franklin County.”

The Senior Fair is free to attend and is open to all area senior citizens and their family members or caregivers. The event this year is being sponsored by The Leland of Laurel Run.
