HARRISBURG – The House State Government Committee today approved legislation authored by Rep. Rob Kauffman (R-Cumberland/Franklin) that would prohibit the smuggling of humans in Pennsylvania for profit or other commercial purposes. House Bill 856 is part of a package of bills aimed at providing greater enforcement of the growing illegal immigration problem in the Commonwealth.
