Biography
State Rep. Rob Kauffman was first elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to represent the 89th Legislative District in 2004.

Rob has been appointed to serve as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee for the 2019-20 Legislative Session. The committee deals with issues pertaining to criminal justice reform, firearms, family law, law enforcement, sex offenses, judicial reforms, animal cruelty, crime victims, juvenile justice and more.

He previously served as chairman of the House Labor and Industry Committee.

A graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and the American University School of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., before being elected to serve the people of the 89th Legislative District, Rob had served as vice chairman of the Greene Township Board of Supervisors.

In his community, he is a member of the Greene Township Lions Club, the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce, Franklin County Farm Bureau, the Franklin County Historical Society—Kittochtinny, the Franklin County Republican Committee and the National Rifle Association.

Rob and his wife, Niki, live in Scotland, with their children Abby, Will, Andrew and Caleb. The whole family is active in the ministries of their local church, Bethel Assembly of God in Chambersburg.
